Dreaming about Throne
A throne, or any chair raised, ornate, or marked as a seat of authority, shifts the reading toward power, sovereignty, and the question of who is fit to rule, within the self or within a structure.
Common interpretations
Jungian
In the Jungian frame, a throne often carries the archetype of the King or Sovereign: the organizing center of the psyche. Sitting on a throne, being offered one, or seeing one occupied by another figure typically points to questions of inner authority, who governs the dreamer's decisions, and whether that governance is legitimate.
You stand before an empty throne and hesitate to approach. The reading often points to a reluctance to claim authority in a part of your life where it has become yours to hold.
