Dreaming about Hiding from someone

The pursuer or seeker is identified or implied. The reading centers on the relationship between the dreamer and that figure, and on what is being protected from being seen by them specifically.

Common interpretations

  • Jungian

When the seeker has a face, the Jungian reading often treats that figure as a personification of an inner pressure rather than a literal person. A parent figure can stand for an internalized standard, a partner for a quality the relationship surfaces, a stranger for an unfamiliar aspect of the self. The anxiety typically tracks how close that figure is allowed to come.

You hide from a family member who is calling for you with growing impatience. The reading often considers what part of you that voice represents internally.
