Dreaming about Someone Else Naked
Dreams in which another person, rather than the dreamer, is nude shift the focus from self-exposure to perception of another, and the reading typically depends on who that person is and how the dreamer feels about seeing them.
Common interpretations
Jungian
When a known figure appears naked in a dream, the Jungian reading often treats it as the dreamer seeing that person without their usual persona, or, more commonly, seeing a part of the self that the figure represents in its undefended form. The discomfort or ease of the dream tracks the dreamer's relationship to that material.
A colleague you find intimidating appearing unclothed and ordinary in a dream. The reading often points to the dreamer's projection beginning to soften.
Freudian
The Freudian reading of seeing another person nude is typically more direct, often pointing to displaced sexual or curious impulses toward that figure, or toward what they represent. The dream allows the wish to surface in a setting the censor can tolerate.
A neighbor you barely know appearing nude in a casual setting in the dream. The reading often points to a curiosity or attraction the waking mind has been keeping at arm's length.
If this helped, share it with someone else who is curious about their dreams.
